Nothing random
A big shelf and a high bar are not opposites. We carry a wide range in every category, and every product on it was chosen by someone here who can speak about it in detail. Plenty to choose from, none of it guesswork.
The good stuff waits
behind this door.
You must be 21 or older to enter. New York licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary.
Colorado hemp fields in 2017. Our own line of CBD. Then east to Manhattan. The dispensary is the newest room in a house we've been building for nearly a decade.
Blue Forest Farms Dispensary is a woman-owned, New York–licensed adult-use cannabis shop at 122 E 25th Street, in NoMad. We are not a chain, and we are not a headshop. We are a nine-year-old plant company that finally has a retail license.
The short version: we learned this plant on a farm before we ever sold it in a store. That order matters. It is why every item on the menu is hand-picked, why the staff can talk about every jar on the shelf, and why the room looks more like a gallery than a counter.
One address holds two businesses. The CBD studio is in front, open to anyone. The licensed dispensary is behind it, 21 and over. Same family, same standards, two doors.
Our own sign says it plainer than we can: Curated. Premium. Licensed. Women owned. NYC licensed. Open every day until midnight.
The two doors, explained
New YorkGood company
Blue Forest Farms is founded in Colorado, growing hemp and learning the plant from the soil up. The farm becomes a brand: our own line of CBD products. Nothing about the dispensary would exist without this part.
We bring the brand east and open the Blue Forest Farms CBD studio in NoMad — the front door at 122 E 25th Street. New city, same shelf philosophy: a wide range, every item chosen by hand.
The back door opens. BFF Dispensary is licensed for adult-use cannabis in New York — among Manhattan's earliest licensed dispensaries — carrying the same curation the studio was known for.
Where it started — our own line of CBD, grown out of Colorado hemp roots since 2017, brought to New York in 2022. A separate shelf from the licensed adult-use side. This is the storefront most of 25th Street sees first.
Visit the studioWalk through and you're on the licensed side: a curated adult-use menu, staff who know it product by product, and a room that reads more gallery than shop. Valid ID, 21 and over, every time.
Shop the menuGlass front, and a blade sign that just says a cannabis store. The A-frame on the sidewalk carries the rest of it: women owned, NYC licensed, delivery service available, open 9AM to midnight.
Between Park Avenue South and Lexington, on a block that is equal parts pre-war apartment buildings and after-work foot traffic — a few minutes east of Madison Square Park.

A big shelf and a high bar are not opposites. We carry a wide range in every category, and every product on it was chosen by someone here who can speak about it in detail. Plenty to choose from, none of it guesswork.
If it's on the shelf, someone here can tell you what it's like, who it tends to suit, and who should probably skip it. That's the bar — not how well a product sells somewhere else.
We chose, stood behind and sold hemp products for years before we ever chose an adult-use one. That habit — read the label, ask the question, then decide — came with us through the back door.
The shelf changes as harvests, batches and drops change. What's here this week may not be here next week. The live menu is always the source of truth.
Both of those are printed on the sign out front, and both are load-bearing. Woman-owned is who built this — from the Colorado grow through the CBD line to the license. NYC licensed means every product on the adult-use side moves through New York's regulated supply chain, tested and tracked, sold by a shop the state can name.
The unlicensed market in this city is enormous and it does not answer to anybody. We do. It shows up as slower buying, tighter paperwork, and a shorter menu — and as the reason you can ask us where something came from and get a real answer.
How to read a legal labelPersonable and genuinely knowledgeable — that's what we hire for, and it's what we want you to walk out remembering. Not upselling. Not reciting a package. Asking what you're actually after and being honest when the answer is "not this one."
If you're new, say so. Nobody here is going to make that awkward. If you've been at this for twenty years, say that too — you'll get a different conversation and probably a better one.
Come say hello
Ten words came out of the room when we described what this place is supposed to be. We didn't sand them down afterwards.
Our sign, our wordsCurated. Premium. Licensed.
A snapshot, not a catalogue: the line-up shifts as new drops land. Check the live menu before you make the trip for something specific.
Brands currently displayed in our window: Camino, PAX, Lost Farm, Matter, Ruby and Torch.
North of Madison Square Park, south of everything loud. NoMad is a working neighbourhood that dresses well: design studios, hotel bars, people walking home from an office and people arriving for dinner, passing each other on the same block at seven in the evening.
That mix is exactly the room we wanted. Somebody buying their first low-dose gummy should feel as at home at this counter as somebody who reads terpene profiles for fun. Nobody is out of place here, and nobody gets talked down to.
Staying open until midnight is part of that. The city doesn't finish at nine, so neither do we.
Real photographs of the actual store — no renderings, no stock. Reception in front, artwork on the walls, the licensed floor at the back.
There is a sofa in reception, because people should be able to sit down while they think. There is original art on the walls, because a white box with a counter in it is not a place anyone wants to linger. The question we keep coming back to: would you be comfortable bringing someone who has never done this before?
Four ways through the door, depending on how much of the evening you want to spend on this.
Open every day, 9:00 AM to midnight. Bring valid government-issued ID showing you're 21 or older — every visit, no exceptions.
Build your order on the live menu and collect it at the counter. Fastest option if you already know what you want.
Available for online orders. Call from the curb on (917) 970-0440 and we'll bring it out.
Delivery service is available — it's on the sign out front. Start on the live menu or call the shop and we'll tell you what we can get to you tonight.
Blue Forest Farms is the CBD studio at the front of 122 E 25th Street, and it is the reason there is a dispensary at the back of it. Hemp grown in Colorado since 2017, formulated into our own line, sold in New York since 2022.
No THC, and no license required to shop it. If you're buying for somebody who isn't looking for THC at all — or you just want the hemp side of what we make — that's the door.
Stoops, rooftops, back seats, bridges. People who look like they already know each other, in the city as it actually is. Cannabis barely appears in any of the frames, which is deliberate — the product is the least interesting thing about the night it belongs to.
The rest of the campaign lives on Instagram, alongside the shop itself.
A tagline they already hadYour New bff
Especially with edibles. Take the smallest dose and give it real time before you take any more — edibles come on far slower than people expect. You can always take more. You cannot take less. The timing on the package is the number to trust.
Legal New York packaging tells you THC and CBD per serving, servings per package, batch number and testing. If a product can't tell you that, it isn't from a licensed shop.
"What is this going to feel like?" "How long does this last?" "Can I do this before dinner with my in-laws?" All fair questions, and none of them will get you a look from anyone behind this counter.
Never drive after consuming. Keep everything sealed, out of reach of children and pets, and out of the front of the car on the way home.
Yes. The dispensary is licensed adult-use, so it's 21 and over with a valid government-issued photo ID, every visit — including if you've been in the day before. The CBD studio at the front of the building is open to everyone.
Same family, same address, two doors. Blue Forest Farms is our CBD studio and it has been the front of 122 E 25th Street since 2022. BFF Dispensary is the licensed adult-use side at the back, open since 2024.
9:00 AM to midnight, seven days a week — it's printed on the sign out front. Any change to that gets posted on Instagram first.
Yes — build your order on the live menu and collect it in store. Curbside pickup is available too; call (917) 970-0440 when you're outside.
Delivery service is available — it's listed on our storefront sign. Start on the live menu or call the shop and we'll confirm what we can get to you and when.
Cash, debit and ACH bank payments, and there's an ATM on site if you'd rather withdraw here.
The store is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly. If there's something specific you need to know before you make the trip, call ahead and we'll tell you straight.
Parking is available. That said, it's Manhattan — the 6 at 23rd Street or 28th Street will usually be less trouble, and both are a short walk away.
Open daily
9:00 AM – 12:00 AM
You don't need to know what you want before you walk in — that's the whole point of having people behind the counter who actually know the shelf. Nine years in, that's still the part we're proudest of.
